UHI is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving lives and strengthening communities through accessible healthcare, education, and social support services across both Minnesota (USA) and Kenya.

Our Vision

To work closely with communities (including immigrant and underserved populations) to reduce health disparities, improve mental health outcomes, and empower individuals to lead healthier, and more productive lives.

Our Mission

To use our dual presence to create a powerful model of global-local partnerships and leverage resources, expertise, and cultural understanding to deliver meaningful and sustainable change.

About United Health Initiatives (UHI)

UHI is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving lives and strengthening communities through accessible healthcare, education, and social support services. Operating across both Minnesota (USA) and Kenya, UHI bridges local and global efforts to address some of the most pressing public health and social challenges affecting underserved populations.

In Minnesota, we work closely with diverse communities—including immigrant and underserved populations. Our overarching objective is to reduce health disparities, improve mental health outcomes, and empower individuals to lead healthier, and more productive lives.

In Kenya, UHI expands its mission through impactful international initiatives that address fundamental needs.

Through our dual presence, UHI creates a powerful model of global-local partnership—leveraging resources, expertise, and cultural understanding to deliver meaningful and sustainable change. Its work is rooted in compassion, equity, and a commitment to uplifting communities both at home and abroad.
